has served as a Career Preparation Period coordinator at Penobscot Job Corps Center for nearly 20 years. He loves giving back to the program that helped him as a young man. Michael has held several roles at Job Corps but enjoys working with brand-new students the most.

serves as the Driver’s Education instructor at Penobscot Job Corps Center. He previously served as an airborne paratrooper in the U.S. Army and had two sets of jump wings. Michael also worked in social work for 27 years.

lead Carpentry instructor at Penobscot Job Corps Center, received training in electrical studies, architectural drawing and general construction in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. He has worked in carpentry for over 20 years in several cities constructing, erecting, installing, finishing and repairing concrete, wood, metal and vinyl structures, and fixtures on residential and commercial buildings. He holds several certifications in construction, safety and management, and has had the privilege to work with great students.

Culinary Arts Instructor at Penobscot Job Corps Center, has 12 years of culinary experience at a multitude of restaurants ranging from fine dining to fast-paced cooking.  

Culinary Arts instructor at Penobscot Job Corps Center, was trained in the culinary arts program at Eastern Maine Community College. She has work experience in restaurants, bakeries, hospitals and catering.

is an Advanced Baking and Pastry instructor at Penobscot Job Corps Center. He has worked at Penobscot Job Corps since 2010 and previously held worked as a chef and manager at several restaurants and bakeries. Chef Ric also traveled internationally serving as a chief steward on tanker ships, feeding and caring for 25–50 shipmates.

is a Health Care Orientation instructor at Penobscot Job Corps Center. She started at Penobscot Job Corps in 2000 as the Career Technical Readiness instructor, and then transitioned to career technical secretary so that she could have more interaction with students after they left Job Corps. Amy has experience as a certified nurse assistant and worked in a health care office for many years. She is passionate about helping others learn and grow and enjoys working with students who are pursuing careers as a certified medical assistant or certified nurse assistant. 

has served as Welding instructor at Penobscot Job Corps Center for over a decade. Donnie was introduced to welding and fabrication at age 10, trained in the field, and had formal training through KVVTI. He has been welding for 30 years as a welder fabricator, structural welder, heavy equipment operator, construction specialist, maintenance specialist and millwright.

is a Welding instructor at Penobscot Job Corps Center. He previously worked at Cianbro Corporation for 25 years as a welder, foreman, general foreman and welding instructor. William also worked at Fab Newport for five years. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and following NASCAR and Boston sports teams.

is a Certified Medical Assistant instructor at Penobscot Job Corps Center. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in health education and organizational management. Prior to coming to Penobscot Job Corps, Sherri worked in many roles in the health care system for 30 years, including 20 years as a phlebotomist and 10 years as a CMA. She enjoys teaching young people and using her experiences to help them understand their roles.
