Manny Gonzales, who was originally a student of Sierra Nevada Job Corps Center in 1992, is a Carpentry instructor on campus. He completed a carpentry apprenticeship, earned OSHA 500 certification and has worked with the Carpenters Local Union 971 for nearly 30 years.

Connie Swain

has taught Office Administration at Sierra Nevada Job Corps Center for nearly 30 years. She is trained to assist students in completing Internet Core Competency (IC3) digital certifications and Microsoft program certifications. Graduates of Office Administration work in the industry and pursue other goals through the center’s college program.

Katie Bohl - Pharmacy Technician - Sierra Nevada Job Corps Center

Katie Bohl

is a Pharmacy Technician instructor at Sierra Nevada Job Corps Center. She obtained her pharmacy technician license through CVS and is trained to certify students in aseptic handling (procedures to prevent contamination) and HIPAA compliance. Katie also assists students in earning a pharmacy technician license through the American Society of Health System Pharmacists.

She has taught Medical Administrative Assistant courses for over a decade and is trained to certify students in basic life support and assist students in obtaining a nationally recognized medical assistant certificate through the National Health Care Association.

began her teaching career in Chicago, Ill., after earning a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, and master’s and doctoral degrees in education. She currently works at Los Angeles Job Corps Center as the Office Fundamentals instructor. Latrice loves all aspects of teaching and learning, and wants the very best for all her students.

His career has always revolved around computers, from teaching computer classes to working as a financial analyst, to computer repair and networking. Kwok started working part time for Los Angeles Job Corps as a computer technician in 2014 and is currently an Office Administration instructor.
