Throughout his time at Job Corps, Dennis has maintained a 98% classroom success rate for learner’s permits and driver’s licenses. He has also assisted with an on-campus Job Corps mentorship program for the past 12 years.

is South Bronx Job Corps' Office Administration instructor. She worked at Little Rock Job Corps Center for four years, where she also received certifications to teach Computer Networking. She acquired a baccalaureate degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. In her current role, Belinda teaches administrative skills, computer applications, office proficiency, and the skills necessary to obtain, maintain and cultivate a professional career as an office administrator.

For most of her career, Brenda has instructed Fortune 500 companies, colleges and nonprofit organizations on the techniques and software of computers across several different industries. Since she was a child, Brenda has had a passion for teaching and always knew she would become a teacher.

brings 20 years of career experience to her position as a Security and Protective Services instructor at South Bronx Job Corps Center. Tamisha is an NYS-licensed security guard, is OSHA-certified, and is ASP-certified in baton and handcuffs. She loves to help students gain the fundamentals, knowledge and certifications needed to enter the security industry.

brings over 25 years of experience to his role as Welding instructor at Sierra Nevada Job Corps Center. Brandon is a 1998 Job Corps graduate, and in total, he has 12 certifications from the American Welding Society. Brandon wants students to graduate with full confidence in their ability to work in the field.

originally graduated from Job Corps in 1994 and has over 30 years of experience in plastering, which he now uses every day as the Plastering instructor at Sierra Nevada Job Corps Center. Jimmy has earned certifications to instruct students on the most up-to-date equipment for the industry. 

Wes Getz - Painting - Sierra Nevada Job Corps Center

Wes Getz

Painting instructor Wes Getz is a U.S. Army Infantry veteran and has been with the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades since 1989. Through the Union, Wes gained experience in wall covering, dry wall repair and more. He is authorized to operate a variety of equipment and teaches students proper use through the painting program.

Tom Northrop, a Cement Masonry instructor at Sierra Nevada Job Corps, has been working with cement since he was 16 years old. He has over 30 years of cement experience and has been with Local 797 Plasterers and Cement Masons for 15 years. Tom enjoys imparting this knowledge to students daily.
